What is a Webelos?

The Webelos den is for youth who are in 4th grade (or reached age 10). To earn the Webelos badge of rank, a Scout must complete six required Adventures and any two elective Adventures. As of fall 2024, Webelos and Arrow of Light will no longer share elective Adventures. 

Many Adventures are completed as a Den to complete the Scout's rank. Each Adventure is based on themes such as outdoors, citizenship, reverence, and personal safety, while electives are offered in fishing and aquatics, tech, and culinary among many others. Webelos have a higher focus on camping safety and are offered additional camping opportunities.
